1. I live in Irvington, reputedly the most haunted neighborhood in Indianapolis. We have an annual Halloween festival and regular ghost tours.

2. Growing up, the standard was, Can I climb it? Nowadays I just like trees in general.

3. Not sure. I often do little things, like snacks, occasionally buy a CD.

1. Haaaaa... letmethink, no.

Although my grandmother who passed away last spring told me interesting things about the neighbour's house. The man who lived next door died unexpectedly when he was in his late fifties. He was coming back home from the village shop and the road was slippery with ice so he slipped and fell with his kicksled, and cracked his head on the ice.

His wife told my grandmother (and anyone who would listen) that when it happened, she suddenly saw the spectral form of her husband stand in the doorway, in his Sunday suit. He had looked sad and waved goodbye before disappearing. She ran outside in shock and found her husband dead only a few hundred metres away from home.

I don't think the ghost ever appeared again but I still took care not to venture anywhere near their property when I was at grandma's.

2. Very large willows with weeping branches.

3. Hot chocolate? A new dress? A crispy martini? I spoil myself, really. :)

1. Yes, it was an English Cottage style house built in 1890 we rented while living in this wine town called Newberg. They were friendly spirits, though. I never felt threatened or like they wanted us out or anything like that.

2. A Redwood or Sequoia tree

3. Got my hair trimmed and highlighted

1. Have you ever worked or lived anywhere haunted?
I firmly believe the place I currently work is haunted, but there are no specific stories about it. Things just go wrong.

My elementary school was supposed to be haunted.

Actually come to think of it, it's hard to throw a stone in the town and NOT hit something that's supposedly haunted. Esp, downtown.

2. What is your favorite kind of tree?
Hmm...I like ones that are easy to climb and/or cast nice shade. Also if you build a treehouse in it EXTRA WIN!

3. What was last thing you did to treat yourself?
Hmm...Got a full body massage at the hot springs. And bought a case of Mountain Dew.

1. Have you ever worked or lived anywhere haunted?
Yes and no. I didn't live there or work there but my Mom's house was/is(?) haunted. After Mom and my aunt died in the house, I was cleaning out some of their stuff. Of course, I was talking to myself. As I carried out a box, I said, "I just wish I knew that you two were ok". When I came back in from my car, the light in the living room was on. It hadn't been before I left. For the record, my mom's family had a lot of interest in the paranormal. They all had promised to come back and "visit" from beyond the grave.

1) yup to both.

2) The tight grained, white woods- easy to carve, lucious to polish and handle. :) The trees usually produce in such a way that they thrive when the saplings are thinned, providing me with carving wood and them with better life. yay!

3) Myself? It's been a little while. but I TOTALLY know what the next thing will be. CHEESE STICKS. I wants me some cheese sticks.
