I'm not fond of dandelions, not because they're weedy, but because I really don't like yellow flowers that much.

My husband once told me that he found an island in the middle of a small creek that was covered in all kinds of violets -- blue, purple, white, yellow and red. I have seen white violets, but never yellow, red or blue.
