I'm in the Pirate Guild at the Ren Fair every year. Valdez is the site of a yearly theatre conference that is pretty much like being at camp. I used to right for the local arts paper and I once described the Theatre Conference by saying 'the similarities to summer camp include my husband and I lugging around sleeping bags around at 2am looking for our room. By Wednesday over-scheduling at bottle fatigue have felled most of the audience for the 8am panels. I, for one, realize I can no longer tell you what day of the week it is, but I know exactly what time the reading I want to hear is this afternoon.'
