Okay - I planned a really long post about my great accidental theme night, but I ran out of time! Will try to post tonight?

1. What is the best way to treat mosquito bites? (on on the back of the neck and one on a toe! Argh!)

2. What was the last black and white movie you saw? Did you like it?

3. What kind of socks are you wearing?

Bonus question: What do you know (or think you know) about the Mafia just off the top of your head?

1) Nail polish -- shielding it from the air reduces itching. I don't know if this really works, but I use it anyway whenever I have a bad bite.

2) Wow I don't know.

3) Barefoot atm

Bonus: I know - The less you know the better.

1) I usually scratch at 'em until they bleed... they stop itching after that. :P

2) I want to say when I rewatched Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte. I love Bette Davis.

3) I know pretty much nothing.

1. I use this stuff called "After-bite" that has (rubbing) alcohol in it. It burns like the dickens but makes it stop itching. Even the ones on ankles and feet that NEVER stop itching!

2. I don't re...... oh yes, it was the one about Edward R. Murrow.

3. NO SOCKS. SOCKS ARE EEEEEVIL.

Bonus: I know nothing about nobody nohow.

1) If the skin is not broken, a drop of ammonia works like wonder.
2) Metropolis, I think. I liked it, a lot.
3) Socks are for winter.

1. Don't be allergic to them.

2. Never.

3. Oddly enough, I am still wearing socks - white 'athletic' socks, Champion brand.

Seriously, just don't be allergic to mosquito venom or anticoagulant or whatever it is that makes it itch, that's the only real way (and it's great, I assure you)

1. Don't itch.

2. Ed Wood. Yep, but I'm twisted that way.

3. None.

Bonus: Al Capone had one of his safe houses just a few blocks from where I grew up. The St. Valentine's Day Massacre took place down the street from one of my favorite pizza places. And I worked with one of the jury members who served on the Gotti trial.
