Heh; this sounds like a moment from a rehearsal I had a few years back. I was working on a show that booked rehearsal space in a facility that rented out a lot of studios, and also let the renters share a single storage closet so they could leave props and such there. I was working on a production of The Bacchae, and part of the show involved the cast using a series of quarterstaffs; after one rehearsal I was sent to bring the staffs back to the closet.

As I was on my way down the hall, staffs in hand, I passed two guys coming from the closet, heading to their rehearsal room. They were carrying a toilet. We just nodded at each other as we passed in the hall, and they disappeared into one of the studios and I stowed the staffs in the closet and was locking it up again.

That's when it occurred to me that only in theater could you have a woman carrying six big horkin' sticks pass two guys carrying a toilet in an office building hallway, and have the whole situation make perfect sense.
